Touch TV Networks Demo using Windows 7 a NextWindow display

Here is a short video demonstration of a Touch TV Networks demo on a display using a NextWindow touch screen. It looks like it was built using Windows 7. I understand that it was created by people with former Microsoft connections.

For more information, take a look at the Touch TV Networks website.

Nobody will want to touch his TV. At least I do not want to touch my Bravia and I ask my kids not to do it !
There is no future in touching a TV.
The future is touchless. All the rest is pure waste of time.

I am not sure why it is called "Touch TV", maybe to let people know that large displays can support interaction. Some systems look as if they are "touch", but they really rely on gestures, as you know.

I think that some people like to touch, and others would prefer to use gestures. Some need to hold on to something, like their WiiMotes.

I think it depends on the purpose of the interaction, and what sort of applications that are available for people to use.
