My Nokia n800 Internet Tablet!

I recently purchased a Nokia n800 Internet tablet for about $225.00. I'm impressed with all of the features for the price! It works well for making Internet calls via Skype, as it provides an integrated camera/ webcam.

The screen is crisp and easy to read, especially when zoomed in. The screen can be manipulated with a stylus or fingers, and the on-screen keyboard can be enlarged to allow for finger-typing.

Playing around with the device, I can see that it has potential for use in education.
In my opinion, the n800 the potential to support low-cost assisted technology and augmented communication applications.

I've grown fond of my n800 over the past couple of months.

I often use my Nokia when I'm getting coffee at a cafe that offers free WiFi. I use it to check and respond to e-mail, and also to look up information related to things I need to do before I go home.

I set the "zoom" to 120% so I can read things more easily. I've bookmarked some websites, such as Yahoo!, that are optimized for mobile devices, so that helps.

The battery on the Nokia seems to be pretty good. I haven't had problems with WiFi connections. It comes with mini earphones, and the wire from the Nokia to the earphones serve as an FM radio antenna. You can also listen to mp3's.

I can type with both hands on the touch screen when the keyboard is enlarged. The handwriting recognition system is pretty accurate, too. It is good to have multiple input features.

In the right light, the camera is good for quick snapshots. My n800 came with Skype, which makes it convenient for overseas phonecalls.

Although the video camera's quality is a little grainy, it is OK for the small screen.

The n800 functions well as a flashlight, especially when I'm fishing for something in the depths of my purse in the dark.

Yes, I like my Nokia Internet Tablet!

I absolutely love the Monet's Garden video! It is my dream to go there and the Keukonhof. Can I download that to my Nokia n800?
Beautiful pictures!

You can embed the video. I haven't had time to upload a version that people can download yet.
